On June 19, Aaron Alexander, Sasha Kotlyar, and Dean Weber will lead an interactive group lab based around Mono. You are encouraged to spend some time familiarizing yourself with Mono, come prepared with questions, information you would like to share, and concerns you have that can be discussed. The format of this meeting will be a Coding Dojo where it is somewhat like an Open Space Meeting with everybody interacting, throwing out questions, and sharing opinions but where the group has a collective goal to produce something hands-on. In this case, the end result will be the creation of a Mono development environment with some basic understandings of how to deploy to it. Aaron, Sasha, and Dean will provide us with the guidance we need in accomplishing this task.

While we cannot promise it, we hope to be able to distribute the virtual machines that we will be working with so you can bring it home to work with and learn. If we are unable to distribute them at the event, we will ensure that links are provided to a location where you can acquire them. This may be done via DVD or it may be done via USB hard drives. In the latter case, you will need a laptop to obtain your copy.
Doors open at 5:15pm with the presentation starting at 6:00pm. Get there early for pizza and networking!
